North Ash Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) creates clean, minimal, and intuitive apps designed to help people stay organized, work efficiently, and manage everyday tasks. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you choose to share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps handle data and what rights you have.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unless an individual app explicitly states otherwise, our apps do not:

  • Collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or address

  • Track your location

  • Access your contacts, photos, or personal files

  • Share data with advertisers or third‑party marketers

  • Sell, rent, or trade any information

  • Use your data for targeted advertising

Most North Ash Technologies apps operate entirely on your device, without transmitting any data to us.

2. Information We May Collect

Some apps may require limited information to function properly. This may include, but is not limited to:

On‑Device Data

Data you enter into the app (such as logs, notes, counts, settings, or preferences) is stored locally on your device unless the app offers optional cloud sync.

Apple Health Data (Shadow Journal and similar apps)

Some apps may request permission to read or write data from or to Apple Health. This may include metrics such as:

  • Mindfulness minutes

  • Sleep data

  • Heart rate or related wellness categories (if you choose to enable them)

Health data is:

  • Stored securely on your device or in your iCloud account

  • Never accessible to us

  • Never shared, sold, or used for advertising

  • Only used for the features you explicitly enable

You may revoke Health permissions at any time in your device or Health app settings.

Location Data (Haul Guard and similar apps)

Some apps may request access to your location to provide features such as:

  • Map display

  • Navigation

  • Route guidance

  • Safety or clearance information

Location data is:

  • Used only while the app is in use (unless you choose otherwise)

  • Stored only on your device

  • Never transmitted to us

  • Never used for tracking or advertising

You may change location permissions at any time in your device settings.

Anonymous Diagnostic Data

If enabled through your device settings, Apple or your operating system may provide us with anonymous, aggregated analytics such as:

  • Crash reports

  • Performance metrics

  • Device type and OS version

This information does not identify you personally and is used only to improve our overall app's stability and its performance.

3. How We Use Information

​We use data only for:

  • Core app functionality

  • Features you explicitly enable (such as HealthKit or location services)

  • Improving performance and reliability

  • Ensuring compatibility across devices and OS versions

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Most app data is stored locally on your device.

  • If an app uses cloud sync (iCloud), data may be stored using Apple’s iCloud services under your control.

  • We do not have access to your iCloud data.

  • We use industry‑standard security practices to protect any optional diagnostic information we receive.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Our apps do not use any third‑party services for analytics, advertising, data collection, or tracking. We do not integrate external SDKs, ad networks, analytics platforms, or data‑sharing tools of any kind.

  • Any data used by our apps remains on your device or within Apple‑provided system services under your control.

6. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not designed to collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

7. Your Choices

You can control what data is shared by adjusting your device settings:

  • Manage Health permissions

  • Manage location permissions

  • Disable analytics sharing

  • Disable iCloud sync (if applicable)

  • Delete app data at any time by removing the app

Many of our apps also offer import and export features that allow you to save or transfer your data. Any file generated through these features is created on‑demand, stored only where you choose to save it, and is never sent to us. You are solely responsible for the storage, security, and handling of any exported files.

Because most data is stored locally, deleting the app typically removes all stored information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to our apps or changes in legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will indicate the most recent revision. Be sure to check back frequently
